In Shinjuku station at the weekend, this signage was pointed out to me by my friend and graphic designer, Masuo Kuroda. At first sight it looks pretty simple and nondescript, but when you look closer, you will find that it all has been put together with gaffer tape. Each letter is meticulously crafted. Many designers have sought out the creator, but it is thought to be a construction worker who takes pleasure in creating clean, simple signs. Also worth noting that Shinjuku station is the busiest station in the world, with an estimated 3.6 million passengers daily.
